what can I do to support TUDA?
Here
are just a few of the things that you can do to support TUDA:
- Join TUDA
- Make other disabled members in your workplace and branch aware
of TUDA and ask them to join
- Ask your branch to affiliate to TUDA
- Ask your branch to make a donation to TUDA
- Ask your branch to put a motion to annual conference asking
your union to affiliate to TUDA
- Ask your union to make a regular donation to TUDA's running
costs
- Ask your union to make a specific donation to TUDA to fund
research and publications
- Ask your union to fund the expenses for members to attend TUDA
meetings and events
- Ask your union to fund the expenses for members to attend TUC
disabled members' conference and events
- Ask your union to invite TUDA to hold a fringe meeting at your
annual conference and to subsidise the costs
- Ask your union to allow TUDA to use its meeting facilities
free for Executive Committee and other meetings
- Ask your union to allow TUDA to use your print facilities and
to subsidise the costs
- Ask your union to allow TUDA to include a free insert in its
mail-outs to members
- Ask your union to include a free advertisement for TUDA membership
in your union newsletters and magazine
- Ask your union to advertise on the
TUDA website
- Ask your union to lobby the TUC to increase the profile and
funding of disability equality work
- Ask your union to support the Trade Union
Charter for Disability Equality
