As a Trade Union, what can we do to support TUDA?
Here are just a few of the things you can do
to support TUDA:
Affiliate
to TUDA- Support the Trade Union Charter for Disability
Equality
- Make a regular donation to TUDA's
running costs
- Make a specific donation to TUDA to fund research and publications
- Fund the expenses for members of your union to attend TUDA
meetings and events
- Fund the expenses for members of your union to attend TUC disabled
members' conference and events
- Invite TUDA to hold a fringe meeting at your annual conference,
and subsidise the costs
- Allow TUDA to use your meeting facilities free for Executive
Committee and other meetings
- Allow TUDA to use your print facilities and subsidise the costs
- Allow TUDA to include a free insert in your mail-outs to members
- Include a free advertisement for TUDA membership in your union
newsletters and magazine
- Pay to advertise on the TUDA website
- Lobby the TUC to increase the profile and funding of disability
equality work
